Space Art Week
I'd like to point out that I am in no way an expert, and this article is based off of my own observations, ideas and research.
I'm probably not the only one to say that the pictures taken by the Hubble Space Telescope are quite stunning to look at. Not only with their amazing nebulae and sparkling stars – but, I believe, most of all with their fantastic colors.
Looking at the above images, we see colors ranging from red to orange to yellow, through green and blue, all the way to purple... It's almost as if space decided to create abstract art with a rainbow's palette with all those splashes of colors, forms and textures seen in those pictures.
But what if I told you that all these colors are actually the results of lots and lots of photo-editing? If I told you that the Hubble Space Telescope only takes pictures in black and white? And that the
